Everyday I Think Of You . . .

Everyday is a happy day.

Notice the pleated washi tape?

Two 12 x 12 page layout
I loved the soft colors of this paper line. It made for a beautiful contrast for the pink blossoms in the photos. These photos of Amanda were taken last spring (May 2013) about a week before she left to serve a full-time mission for the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latterday Saints.
The light pink and black stripe is actually washi tape which I layered and folded/pleated. I used a white gel pen to hand write and add a bit if flourish.

Forever Sisters

Just a quick share of a fun scrapbooking page using a little bit of stamping, inking, cutting, ribbon, and such. I do love to play with paper!

Amanda Joelle's Art

With Amanda soon leaving home for a year and a half to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints we thought it was about time we actually created a website to promote and sell her art work. It is a work in progress, with some weeks having more progress than others.

Eventually we will have all of her art offered for sale. The set up costs are quite a bit per piece so we will do one at a time as funds become available and as customers express interest.

Take a peek at her site by going to amandajoelleart.com. Please let friends and family know that every purchase will help support Amanda's mission service. She will be serving in Long Beach California beginning in May.

About a year ago Amanda did a couple of charcoal drawings of relatives. I created a double page layout highlighting the drawings she did of Bruce and I. It makes me happy to showcase her amazing talent. I love seeing Amanda share her artistic gift!

Amanda's Surprise

I wanted to do something fun for Amanda for Valentines. Bruce and I decided to give her money since she is working on completely paying off her student loan by May 1st. But how do you make cash special and memorable? With lots of sentiment and pretty stuff, that's how.

It was easy for me to gather some cute things left over from a recent project. In a very short time I had streamers hanging from her bedroom door frame. I stapled money, doilies, cute sayings, little notes, paper hearts and cute stuff to the ribbons. Amanda will love it! I can hardly wait for her to come home and see her special valentine surprise!

Oh How I Love 2 Scrap!

Sing that to the tune of "I love to laugh".
I really truly do LOVE to scrap. Here are a few more pages which bring smiles to my face. Sure hope they evoke happy sentiments for you, too.

Amanda and Andi at our annual family Christmas Eve sledding.
Wonderful memories of a perfect day!

Colty and Amanda have been great friends their whole lives.
This double page lay out was made using some cute pirate stamps by Stampin' Up.

I am grateful for my beautiful girls.
They truly are beautiful from the inside out.
I am blessed to have them in my life.

This page was easy to create with so many fun elements to choose from.
If anyone recalls the name of this collection please let me know.
I think it is Little Yellow Bicycle. (the name will come to me, I know)
